LaGuardia H.S. CSA Show 2007

for my laguardia high school peeps:

CSA Show ’07 Invitation

To Whom It May Concern:

On behalf of the Chinese Student Association, I, Laraine Ann Chiu, would like to invite you to the CSA Show of 2007 at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Arts and Performing Arts.  The show will include performances of the Chinese traditional fan and ribbon dances, vocals and instrumentals, martial arts, modern dances, and more.

This will be the 19th Anniversary of CSA at LaGuardia High School, and the beginning of the CSA Alumni.  The continuation of this new tradition will be encouraged for future CSA Presidents.  Graduates will therefore be able to come back and see the development of the Chinese Student Association at LaGuardia High School with the new incoming generations.  It would be a great opportunity for a reunion with former members of CSA, and a visit to acknowledgeable faculty members who have supported the Chinese Student Association for many years.

Please consider attending the CSA Show and becoming a member of the CSA Alumni.

I bought two more betta fish today (actually, Ken bought them for me). I gave them a nice new home, and also named them

The black and maroon one that I had originally has been named "Archie." It sports my fraternity colors, and is becoming a fat boy, so I wanted my name in it.

The innocent female of the three has been named "Nala" 'cuz it just fits her well.

The blue bad boy has been pretty passive. It sports a nice bright blue color, so I named him "Max" after my bright blue Maxima.

Archie has been getting pretty heated over Nala. You can see how he flares his gills and fins when he sees her. I think they might be a good match. I'm gonna find them a bigger home this week so they can get it on and make some baby betta.

I also bought some "black worms" to feed them. By the way, I only give them the finest room-temperature Poland Spring, along with the appropriate dose of water purifier. Who's down for a betta fish fight club tournament? Bring it on~!

Gorgeous sent me a link to this site titled Best Careers for your Zodiac Sign. This is what my sign read:

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) You are rock-solid, dependable, responsible, highly organized, goal-oriented, logical and clever. You thrive in positions of power or any vocation where math or money is involved. Consider an IT position because you love software and computers. You are also well-suited for being a doctor, accountant or lawyer.

I was a lil shocked at how on-point the whole schpeil was. I figured I was in real estate, so yea, "math and money" is involved (but then again, most jobs involve math and money in one way or another). "Consider an IT position"... yea I considered that before, and I'm kinda doing IT tech support at my real estate office. I dunno about being a doctor, a little late in the game to jump into that, and the same goes for accounting... but lawyer, maybe. If my real estate career goes well, I might consider law school for real estate law.

Here's to the picture whores:

My business card, yay! ...I know, it looks like I'm running for president.

Trip to Orlando, two weeks ago:

and visited some family... har har, very funny guys!
